Dan Ward is the founder of The Medallion Group. Dan was born into an agricultural upbringing in eastern Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University before venturing into the real estate development business in 1972, where he laid the groundwork for what would ultimately become The Medallion Group. Dan’s relentless drive toward growth started with the development/construction of rural Sonic Drive-Ins and Wal-Mart stores and evolved into larger office, medical and retail properties predominantly in the Oklahoma City metro area. Dan’s strong attention to detail allowed the company to specialize in the development, construction, leasing and asset management realms of the commercial real estate business. Happily married and with his two children now overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Medallion Group, Dan concentrates on business development projects and serves as a valuable consultant to the business. He can often be found on weekends tapping his rural roots on his tractor, mowing the undeveloped properties of the company.

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Tyler grew up around the family business created by his father and took an early interest in commercial real estate. After graduating from Northwestern University and earning a degree in Economics, Tyler gained valuable experience as an investment analyst in Chicago. Eventually the pull to return home and become part of the family business, The Medallion Group, drew him back to Oklahoma City where he became the managing principal in 2014. With his economics and analytical background, Tyler oversees all Medallion Group projects from the initial vision through completion, operation and ultimately exit. In addition to the daily operations of The Medallion Group Tyler also oversees the investment portfolio of the Ward family office. Tyler and his wife Samantha reside in Oklahoma City with their two children, Halle and Walker.

Whitney, an Oklahoma City native, attended the University of Georgia, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in business. After she completed her undergraduate degree, she spent a few years working for Senator Tom Coburn in Washington, D.C., before returning to the metro area to earn her MBA from the University of Oklahoma. While in graduate school in 2010, Whitney began work at The Medallion Group alongside her father, Dan, and brother Tyler. Acting as Medallion’s Principal Broker, her dynamic approach to attracting both local and national merchants is reflected in Medallion’s leasing portfolio, spanning over a million square feet of office, retail and restaurant space. Whitney’s brokerage strengths are largely responsible for the level of success that Chisholm Creek has maintained since its inception in 2016. In addition to working at Medallion, Whitney is very involved in the community and sits on several boards. Whitney and her husband, Adam, have two children, Ward and Thomas, and reside in Oklahoma City.
